Hello

I just read some other user's post referring live bet issue and I just hesitated before being a member. You know only few bookies accept Turkish citizens and Marathon is one of them as they offer asian Handicaps what I'm looking for. They didnt ask for documents at the beginning (ID , Ccard etc.) and I deposited money from my Neteller account. I'll share my experiences in near future . Before that I want to know if anybody uses the bookie , if yes , had there been any problems during payment ?

thanks a lot.

I am also keen to learn more about this bookmaker, as the odds seem to be great. There are two Marathonbets on Bookmakers Review. Marathonbet.com (ex Panbet and Curacao licence) and Marathonbet.co.uk (Alderney Licence). Both sites look exactly the same and have the same odds.

The Alderney licenced Panbet was reviewed by a player (quincunx) on BMR: http://www.bookmakersreview.com/bookmakers/marathonbet-alderney-panbet#node_review_full_group_tabs_review
Said they have great odds and fast payouts, even though they are quick to limit. I guess that is not so helpful, as you are more interested in the Curacao licensed Marathonbet.

I was also attracted to marathonbet.co.uk by some good odds on offer so only yesterday I thought I'd try them out with a smallish deposit.

Firstly I was very disappointed at the max. stake I could place on UK horses. To win something less than $200 AUD!

Then I asked them about what ID I needed to provide and was told that I'd be advised that at a later date. No, I said, I want to get verified up front please so that when I ask for a withdrawal there will be no excuse for delays. No! they say, that's their rule and won't make an exception.

So far therefore, I'm not impressed.

I did post ID,and didn't have any trouble withdrawing money.I have heard others criticise their limits, but they said they didn't have any trouble withdrawing money.Withdrawals via moneybookers took only a few hours.
It was good fun betting with them while it lasted, but eventually they cut my limit to 1 euro.
You can place repeat bets with them after half an hour,or 1 hour,or 2 hours [they moved the time up from half an hour to 2 hours with me].Of course, the odds may change.

Okay, after just a few days playing here I'm done. Conclusion: strictly a recreational book only.

I've placed several bets on the Australian Open tennis, all at the max. stakes I was permitted with their max. liability being only about $220 AUD which then seemed to diminish after a few bets. It is possible to keep coming back after a while and place chicken-feed follow up bets at the same or reduced odds. Frankly just not worth effort for me.

My prime hope however was for UK racing. The first bet I placed, again at max. stake permitted ($40.42 @ 5.70) turned out to be a winner. I came back for another go the next day but the limit was showing as just $6.91 (@ 3.75)!

To conclude my Marathonbet experience I must give them a big tick for promptness of my withdrawal via Moneybookers (Skrill).

Not even Pinnacle processes them quicker than the approx. 10 mins it took :)

What also surprised me was that I wasn't required to provide any ID information, either upon joining or making a withdrawal. I'm too used to dealing with bookies in regulated jurisdictions obviously!

I've seen similar personal limits but not for main markets. I use the .com fwiw and live in Asia. No complaints here and still MANY reasons to use though haven't been at it too long. Will report back if that changes.

I think its been 3 months or so and I have to admit that upto now I'm beyond satisfaction. First I want to underline that I dont know any bookie making transactions faster than Marathon. I am ready to withdraw from neteller after a few seconds I request withdrawal from Marathonbet. This is really great , besides They have so many options to bet on mixing asian markets with Europeans and this is what we all look for imo. However still noone asked for any documentation and this is my biggest concern. I dont know if they are verifying accounts but I'm still in since I think they are the best for bettors from Turkey.

Regards.

I suppose Marathonbet is not so good as most thinking.I registred on 27 Mart this year.My uesername is my email address-marislosans@gmail.com.I made two deposits there -first 3000eur second 3300.Some bets was winning, some was loosing. When marathonbet limited my account I requested withdrawl-5900eur.On 1.04 Marathonbet requested documents -proof of age and bill.I sent documents on the same day,on the same day Maratonbet suspended my account. Now ,after 12 days marathonbet still dont give me answer why he suspended my account.I get only one answewr from them-Your Marathon account was recently blocked whilst we have been conducting a
routine review. This review is still ongoing.
Thank you for your patience whilst this review continues – we will contact you
again as soon as this is complete.

I believe that even if Neteller had shared information with Marathonbet, they would not necessarily admit it.

Marathonbet is currently Under Review and your case, if valid, could certainly influence their initial rating.

Would you like BMR to contact Marathonbet on your behalf?

Glad we could be of help. I wish all players had problems like you that can be easily explained.

For everyone else: make sure the address details with ewallets like Neteller and Moneybookers are always up-to-date and that you use the same address when you register for a new betting account.

But Im cant calm down at all :)
I have two questions, maybe some know answers on it,first -if Neteller are worldwide online payment methode-why I cant used it from other countries??If I tomorrow go to Spain or France why I cant made deposit to Marathonbet??Where is problem? It is not Marathonbet busines where is my Neteller registration country!
If I have Neteller Mastercard I can used it on all Wordl and nobody tell me-sorry man, your card is registred on other country!!
I think Marathonbet dont have any reason suspended customer account if their deposit metod registration country is different with Marathonbet registration country.
4.1 General Information-Maraton T@C

The payment method you use for the deposit and withdrawal of funds must be registered to the same person who has the Marathon gaming account.

I dont find any other T@C on Marathonbet rulls regarding to payments.

Second question-How Marathonbet know about deposit method registration country. Why Neteller shared this info???Is it legally reagard to customers from Neteller side??
