The pandemic already hits the world but California's economy is still strong. Maybe this is also one reason why they are not willing to join the Sports betting legalization?

I don't know, everything is illegal until the gov't gets their cut. I mean lets take weed for example. People see it as like 10 year type of crime for dealing, come 2016 it becomes a taxable revenue all the law enforcement just gives a free pass.

I bet there would be a sports betting ballot of some version that pass in 2022. And all of them is about who gets how much of the California pie.
