Purdy also sustained multiple injuries Sunday. He is now dealing with a toe injury and a shoulder injury, head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed Monday. Specifics of both injuries are not yet known, but Shanahan said Purdy’s toe is worse than his shoulder. The team hopes to have clarity on his status later this week.

The 49ers will host the New Orleans Saints next on Sunday. If Purdy is unable to play in that contest, backup Mac Jones will be the next man up. Jones signed a two-year deal to join the 49ers this past offseason.

Wow....
I didn't watch the game did McCaffrey play well. He only had 69 rushign yds and 0 TDs but he did add 73 yds recieving. That seems like a decent total offensive output for him (142 yds).

McCaffrey was fine yesterday. They leaned on him without George Kittle in the game for a large majority of it. I suspect he will get plenty of touches with Kittle out as well as Jennings hurt. Pearsall gets a boost too as he looked like the Niners best receiver yesterday with all of their injuries.
