True. I mean, they already mingled in school together. I don't see any reason why not.

Well - Boy Scouts likely were all too happy to embrace “diversity” to take away all the attention they got for the wrong reasons.

Up until say age 10-12 - really there is no need to “seperate” the scouts between boy and girl. I mean - you have boys and girls playing t-ball/basketball together until they start splitting around that age - why should scouting be different ?

By the time you get to 12 - how many kids stick with it? It’s an opportunity for social interaction with other kids. As they hit middle school - those opportunities increase and the number involved in other activities outside school decreases. Sure - there’s the 1% who become Eagle Scouts - but for 90% - it’s Cub Scouts and maybe a year of Boy Scouts until they discover different interest.

aside from that.............no, boys do boy things..........girls do girls things

quit the bullshit where they are gender neutral and let them decide

I remember when I was a little ass kid being FURIOUS my dad wouldn't let my join the scouts. He acted like it was almost comical to even entertain the thought. Could not figure it out for the life of me. Obviously many years later I knew why. Plus on top of all the chomo stuff they would also lose a kid in the woods for a week or two every summer.
