So I’ve been playing on Bovada for awhile now, I’ve attained a VIP host and give them plenty of action on sports and in the casino. Never had issues withdrawing or anything but just recently in the middle of playing through a bonus I went on a hot streak and won a few bets in a row. Bovada sent a message to my account that my limits would be lowered and that I needed to verify my account again. Only issue is I moved to New York about a month ago and lost my old ID so now my ID has my new address on it. It won’t let me change my address on my profile bc Bovada is not allowed in Ny I’m wondering what the best option is on how to get it verified. Do I try and talk to support about my address changing? Or do I just take the selfie with my new Id?

If I was in your shoes I wouldn’t tell them you placed any wagers in NY. Maybe tell them you still own your old address and you commute between both properties but your new ID has the NY address.

Couple things. You are in an incredibly good position because your account is established. They are strict about new sign ups from Washington, Pennsylvania, New York, ect. But they do still allow people who have existing accounts to play. The ban doesn’t affect an established account as long as the account was made before they changed their rules. I have a friend in a banned state. The state was banned after he’d been playing for a year, he continues to receive payouts and bonus there. You’ll be fine. You also have a VIP host. He will likely help you.

Do the identity verification, if it fails, it will be sent to manual review. Immediately send an email to support saying you have two residences now. You’re old and new. If they ask for a utility bill hopefully you have a bank statement with the old address, or an insurance bill ect. If you do not have a utility bill, make one. 💀
