The tournament is about what teams have the best resumes not the best teams based on in game numbers. I do think Bookmaker could do a better job of selecting the best teams into the field based on resume numbers versus just in game who is better statistics than the committee could.

If it was purely based on who are the best teams based on in game numbers and not who did you beat and lose to than teams like Rutgers, Oklahoma St and Oregon should have been in the field.

I think the bookmaker would select teams that bring the most action, not necessarily the best teams. Their motivation is strictly driven by $.

The books really shape the tournament and the betting market …
They ultimately control everything, what they will accept….

Also, more needs to be said about live betting …with volatility in the streaming market causing the spinning icon …
Books could almost offer/ deny bets … past post!!
Some of the early lines lack the bigger numbers on ( betting attractive dogs with larger + numbers) we were given in the past…
