Bookmaker live game line change error?

There are a few threads regarding this but is there a solution? Like can you get the price adjusted by contacting them?

You live bet at one odd and have "accept line changes in my favor" selected. But line change against you and bets still goes through at the new higher price.

Example is just brought Pelicans at -145 but line change to -189 while bet was in the 5 second pending phase. And I get locked in at -189.

This isn't something I can document with a screenshot. Maybe a video, but that puts too much work in gambling.

I mean I literally see the odds at -145 on the bet slip, with the timer spinning. 2 seconds later the main bet page odd change and then when my bet is accepted, it changed to -189.

The thread I created is mainly about the auto odds updating issues. I also mentioned this bug there, but I think this deserves its own thread and this works for that.
I thought this was sorted because the "accept line changes only in my favor" worked on Sunday, but today I've had bets accepted at worse odds again so it's still ongoing. When did the example above happen to you?
As far as what could be done. I'm not sure anything other than hoping for them to sort this. You could always try to immediately contact them on chat and ask for the bet to be voided, but I don't think it will work since those agents don't have authority to void bets. They'd pass it on, and impossible to say what would happen. Maybe BMR has advice on what do do.
Changing to "do not accept any line changes" is not ideal, but at least you won't have bets accepted at worse odds so I think that's the best solution in the meantime.

They are losing tons of action from me alone, and I'm sure countless others.

They aren't going to continue to make up for it by ripping off their customers with their faulty software that they refuse to fix.

I'd rather give action elsewhere than to have the possibility of getting fucked up the ass every few bets.

This is a different issue than the one you've been mentioning in other threads, see post #3 in the thread. None should be happening of course, but this is a new issue (since March 17).

To a layman like myself, it doesn't seem that it should be that hard, but it's now been a month since this function stopped working and they haven't fixed it.

For a company as big a bookmaker it should have been fixed in 48 hours or less.

If it just always doesn't work I can understand, like they never had it right. But it sometimes work sometimes doesn't work. That drives me nuts.

Yeah it's very annoying. You test and it works for a while, so you think it's been sorted and then BOOM they screw you over by having a -140 bet accepted at -200.

One thing I notice, if the line change is adjusted with a point spread or total change then you won't get locked in. I.E. Warriors go from -4 to -4.5 but if it is just a value you change you will get locked in. Like All money line bets.

Has anyone had this issue lately? I've done the "do not accept any line changes" lately to avoid getting screwed over, but have missed out on some opportunities so will go back to "accept line changes only in my favor" to see if it's been fixed. Will report my findings later.

This has not been sorted. Sometimes it works as it should, so you think it has been, but then I got one bet placed at -177 accepted at -193 and one at -145 accepted at -251.

I recorded all my screen activity today so I had video in case this bug happened.
It did (-312 bet on tennis accepted at -440). I immediately contacted live chat and said I wanted my bet voided, and I mentioned I had video. And three minutes later, the agent had talked to traders and they agreed to void my bet and said there was no need for video.
This time it was a very small bet, so probably a really easy decision for them. No guarantees they will do the same if it's a bigger bet or odds have moved a lot.
I actually asked if I would get my bets deleted every time my bets get accepted at shorter odds because of this bug, but agent couldn't say. But just said it always helps if I have video.
It's a nuissance to record screens, report it to them etc, but maybe doing so will move sorting this bug up in their priority order.

What a pain in the ass to have to do that all the time.

Maybe they should invest in some programmers to just fix the site.

Or just explode it and use new software.

I've had some more experience on this in the past days.

Short version: There is no constistency whatsoever in how they deal with this.

I had two cases in where I did exactly the same thing, contacted them immediately via chat telling them I had had a bet accepted at lower odds due to a glitch in their system and that I had video of this, and that I wanted the bet voided.

In one of the cases, they voided the bet immediately. In the other they asked me to send video so that the case could be reviewed and I did so as soon as I had finished the chat with their agent. In the end, hours after the match had finished (match finished 2 hrs after I contacted them via chat btw), they just thanked me in an email for the videos and assured me this bug would be fixed as soon as possible but didn't void the bet. When I asked why they didn't void the bet, they didn't reply.

So just a heads-up, even if you have proof of the glitch and contact them immediately, there is no guarantee you will get your bet voided, get compensated or find out the status of your bet in reasonable time. Only way to not have to deal with all this is to have "Do not accept any line changes" checked.

They did reply to me eventually to my question about why the bet wasn't voided.
"At the time it was under review was graded, we could do an adjustment to the account but the bet was a winning bet , that's why we didn't deleted."
So kudos to them for not free rolling and this worked out for me this time, but I am still not comfortable with using "accept line changes only in your favor" and going the report route, so I will wait until this bug is sorted. Will only use for smaller sums until then for testing purposes.

No surprise, but nine weeks after this bug was spotted and reported they still haven't fixed it. I asked them if they had and they couldn't say, but I did some testing of my own for minimal stakes and can confirm bets are still accepted at worse odds. How they can be one of the industry leaders and not be able to fix a fairly simple bug like this is mind boggling.

I had a live bet in WNBA change on me today, with "Do not accept any line changes" ticked.

I wagered U 177.5 and it started processing.

After it processed, it spit out accepted at U 174.5

Total bull shit.

I made the bet at halftime and the game was still at half.

I immediately went to chat and asked that it be cancelled.

I was asked to wait.....

They came back midway through the 3q and said bet stands and that I should be happy that I have a better line as of now.

I asked when they will fix this bug and this is what I got:



"We do not have any bug reported at this point.
Is there anything else I can assist you with today?

Obviously this is a bug if it accepts line changes while processing when "do not accept line changes is ticked"

I understand that this is just a customer service rep telling me this, but my guess is that this is what the higher ups are telling them to say.

They probably get the same complaint 100 times a day.

I give them credit for not free-rolling me, as I had an enormous edge by time they came back and told me, but this is so discouraging.

Telling your customers there is no bug when it's plastered all over the internet, seemingly not caring and basically saying we can't hold lines during live wagering because they move too fast.

I will not be live wagering at BM anymore, unless this gets fixed, which seems highly doubtful since Caramba and others have tried numerous times with no progress.

Has anyone from BMR staff been able to get an official response from them?
