I think I read about this a few months ago, where people stopped having the ability to collect on Deposit Promotions. I've been with them for just shy of a few years now and the hammer struck down on my account and from what I'm hearing several others got the same message at one point or another today.

Be on the lookout for them to make a new round of cuts as they shore up their business to be more like the domestic US Books, along with a short limit leash. The prop limiting hit earlier in the year for me. I can imagine they will start limiting ML bets for people as well if they are beating them at even a small rate.

Was good while it lasted!

The rumors of BOL's death are greatly exaggerated.

I'm actually surprised it took this long for an offshore book to start reflecting how US Books operate, given that in states like Texas where there is no DraftKings or FanDuel (or whatever), the customer base there is still trained on same game parlays and prop gimmicks thanks to the tidal wave of commercials and DFS.

I still like BOL/LowVig. But if they don't open earlier than Circa this year in Iowa for CFB for me, they are just another book.

I'm currently working on skimming back through odds archives for NBA, MLB, NFL, CFB, UFC and WNBA for approx. 30 books, stateside and onshore, and counting best closing numbers. Study is not complete yet, but BOL/Low Vig are the best price about 9% of the time so far, good for 5th in my list of books I'm tracking.

Are you going to send out that list when you are finished?

I feel like the industry as a whole has been tightening up quite a bit over the last year. BOL certainly has been. Getting tougher and tougher to make a living...

Same email here.

Between cutting out bonuses, charging for BTC withdrawals and LowVig slightly increasing juice (MLB totals now 16 cents) in the past week, they seem to be taking a step backwards after making a pretty good run at trying to become top dog.

Same email here too on both accounts, ugh I was going to deposit into both so there goes $700 fp.
I'm wondering if anyone has experience on whether or not the special codes (like the past one ufc90) still work on accounts that can't get the 35% crypto bonus?

For pros they're still the off-shore top dog by a big margin. Considering onshores as well, only Circa is in their league.

P and BM move on BOL, not the reverse.

The codes work as long as you still have a section to enter a promo code. Or at least they did up until about a week ago.
And the 35% crypto bonus is now a 30% crypto bonus.

got that mail as well, but the bigger issue is that all outright limits were massively cut down as well for me.

Just for clarification, though... "You will not be permitted to open a new account [...], doing so may result in account closure and forfeiture of funds" normally should only refer to Betonline, right? They didn't reply to my question if having accounts at both, BOL and Lowvig (so far I don't), is still allowed.

Lots of people have accounts at both. It shouldn't be a problem.

Over the last several years there has never been an issue with having an account at all of BOL, SB, and LowVig. Hopefully that doesn’t change.

If they’ve removed the little box in the cashier to enter a deposit promo code then you are officially done with promos.

thanks, yeah, I was just surprised that they specifically mentioned this in the e-mail, because obviously it's not allowed anyway to have two accounts at Betonline itself. So I wasn't sure if there's more behind it or not.

Yeah, recently BOL disabled the boost bonuses for me, then not long after that they removed my VIP status and then sent me that email about no more bonuses allowed. I will miss the bonuses, but I'm surprised I got all these bonuses as long as I did considering other books cut me from their bonus programs a long time ago.
I am using them way less than I used to now, mostly because of them not offering as good odds as they used to (they react quicker to market movements in my experience) and now with no more bonuses there is no rollover for me to chase so that's even less incentive for me to bet with them. But I'll keep playing there because there are still some sports where I find good opportunities with them.
