Day 15 of the trial resumes on Wednesday. Been watching it on YT channel called "law & order" or something like that. Broward county Florida is where this trial is being held.
4 men in a car after a late night studio session. Melly sitting in the back left of the SUV. He is accused of killing the front right passenger & back right passenger. The driver (YNW Bortland) drives around with the bodies for an hour before driving to the hospital where the 2 are pronounced dead. The court is alleging that Melly tried to stage the murder as a drive-by shooting.
What is his motive?
And what became of the driver?
They are saying Melly didnt want to share $200,000 of the growing YNW brand with the 2 deceased so he just killed them (allegedly)
There growing sentiment that Bortlen will testify but that hasn't happened (yet). Bortlen has his own case with this seperate from Melly.
This is being held in my back yard lol, so close to home you have now peaked my interest.

Looks like the defense already made a separate offer on both of them. The driver is clearly an accessory to the crime.
It's hard to say a drive-by because the deceased have burn marks. That means they got shot super close not from a distance. You have to shoot someone point blank for them to have burn marks.
Yes, a paraffin test could easily check the residue on Melly and the driver's hand.
I believe this is one of the reasons why he’s tried for murder because he actually talked about it in one of his songs, if I’m not mistaken.
