Pretty much redneck. Its Texas fastfood.
People from Texas swear by their Whataburger being the best hamburger anywhere but I'd disagree.

The Bob Sausage and the Sausage/egg/cheese taquitos are TREMENDOUS. The breakfast bisquits aren't bad either.

Exactly - Texans rave about it - first time I was in Dallas I had Uber driver stop before dropping me at the hotel. Seriously disappointed when I realized I’ve had better burgers at a Wendy’s.

They may know Mexican and BBQ down in Texas - but fast food burgers - pass. Nothing truly special to me. Of course I’d probably say the same about In - Out - slightly better but for the hype it gets.

Cook Out is great following a night of drinking - but true Southern fast food - you get a tray of way too damn much food (entree and 2 sides) along with choice of like 100 milkshakes - served in a disposable cup with the obligatory bible verse.

Is Dairi-O across the Carolinas or just Greensboro/Winston ? Never really paid much attention traveling around the state - but that’s one of the fast foods I actually miss now. I prefer quality over quantity the few times I eat it. My diets absolutely shit - but I don’t eat much fast food and when I do it’s usually something like Wendy’s chili or a salad from there or occasionally Chipotle - not the healthiest stuff - but better by far than the greasy burgers.

I agree. But I like the taste of a Whataburger. It's like a McD's quarter pounder and cheese. There are several burgers that taste better than those but they have their own taste that I crave sometimes. Same with Whataburger.
