When I lived in Vegas the town would always be slow this time of year, but the casinos would be jammed with gamblers because of the WSOP. Unless something has drastically changed I would bet that's the case now.

Summer is always slower.... to damn hot.
But, it seems to be more than a "seasonal" slowdown from what I'm reading.
