Players always play injured, they don't want to lose their starting job.

The only injury that they won't let you play through is the head injuries now.

You can be limping on the field and still pressured to get back in there, meanwhile, if you get up wobbling, independant authorities can have you yanked off the field for week.

They will literally watch you limp, and if they don't think it's coming from the head, then they don't care.

A player saying he played hurt this far after the fact won't get a response.

It's not like they lied about his injuries, at any point.

You may be right

They didn't fine the Bengals for Burrow not disclosing an injury the day before Burrow got knocked out for the season

And the NFL irrationally hates the Bengals
