Griffin might have been the most physical rookie to burst on the scene other than Shaq

I remember clearly John Wall was the ROY favorite and Blake Griffin was +250 or more which didn't make sense to me at the time

Injuries took a lot out of him. He was a fan favorite for the Celtics last year, coming off the bench and diving for every loose ball, but it was clear he was a shadow of his former self. IMO if he stayed healthy he would be headed to Springfield.
