LOL! This is a total entertainment.

Source: https://www.tmz.com/2022/03/09/black-panther-director-ryan-coogler-mistakenly-cuffed-bank-robbery/

"Bank staffers mistakenly thought Ryan Coogler was staging a robbery -- so they called cops, and the famed director actually ended up in handcuffs ... briefly.

According to an Atlanta PD report, obtained by TMZ, Coogler was detained after stopping in a Bank of America to make a transaction back in January -- a completely legal transaction, mind you, but that's not how one teller took it.

Coogler walked in rocking shades and a COVID face mask -- not uncommon, of course -- but he handed the teller a withdrawal slip that had a note written on the back."

So long story short the bank employee wrongfully accused this guy of bank robbery just because he wrote what he wanted instead of saying it out loud so that people nearby could hear him making a large cash withdrawal...😡

A normal regular person will not going to write a note like that when they're requesting for withdrawal. I guess he didn't even present his ID or his bank account number or whatsoever to the teller that made him more suspicious.

Why not...? The link you provided has the cops quoted saying he did nothing wrong and it's all the banks fault - the link also says the bank accepted fault and had apologized to the guy...

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to be discreet when withdrawing large sums of cash...

Also, the article did not say he failed to cooperate with the teller...so I'd say he was fully cooperating when right before he was arrested, including providing whatever the teller wanted.
