So had taken a little break from my crypto investments to focus on some gambling but took some time to catch up a bit and came across this. Basically with this fork (test for new system and eventually genesis for first block with new system) eth inches closer to the proof of Stake method. My portfolio is about 40/40 with 20 in other alt coins like solana but been feeling a little worried about eth and thinking of increasing my position in btc but wanted to hear thoughts from y'all.

Also, would be nice for books to take xrp...

Would love to talk crypto Mike but I'm a relative novice. I deal only in BTC.
Too many other balls to juggle to jump head first into that game.

I hope you become a millionaire. I do like the commercial.

Love that commercial!! Well in my case I'm just hodlin as they say. Gotta have a similar mentality as you would with the stock market. Better to make solid boring investments that give you steady growing returns on the long run that trying to hit that long shot. That's why most of my investment (not a lot, just a couple of thou for a rainy day) is on btc and eth. The rest is on a couple of projects that I've read on and I think they could have some future. At the end of the day, besides holding value (like btc and eth do) the other alt coins (for me) are kind of like stocks to bet on as they tend to be the "fuel" of a project that comes to solve a current problem. The best easiest example I can think of would be chainlink and smart contracts. So basically if the project has some utility in the near future that's a good sign for it. The key is being able to determine that by doing some research. Anyways that's like a very broad overview lol. If you got any questions feel free. I'll see if I know the answer and if not I'll look for some good sources to help you out!

Got rid of all my Btc and swapped it with Doge at .02. Going to sit on it until it becomes life changing money. Still holding on to Eth, Cro, Ada, Atom and Uni for now.
Ballsy move but hey you're making a profit still! I got in doge at 0.08 and still hodlin! Love the cro and atom picks! Cro is my third largest position and then Solana but thinking of doubling up on btc

Without a doubt. I pay with BTC when I can.
If not electronically with BTC then I use venmo.

If in peson, plastic.
Yeah, paper money more obsolete every day
Personally for me long-term I would rather hold some assets in both
Agreed, just wondering if I should prioritize one over the other. I think I will focus on btc. Specially with the dip to 39k
