1. Signed up and sent $750 via Bitcoin. $671.39 was credited to my account. I contacted customer support and was told their processor took the rest as fees. I would be reimbursed 10% of $671.39 as a casino bonus if I cashed out or lost. I was told to get a better Bitcoin wallet.

2. Three wagers graded incorrectly including two which I sent screenshots of the final scores. It took multiple live chats and a phone call to get the wagers graded correctly. Each bet took over an hour to get changed.

3. Numerous bets graded before the games ended. Had a Buffalo Bill's bet graded with three minutes left in the 4th quarter.

4. Line changes as soon as a bet was entered. Without my consent. So suddenly my - 5 bet was - 5.5. Live chat did nothing.

Bottom line is this book should be blacklisted and rated a decent sportsbook.

Unbelievable. Another BMR scam.

BMR. The forum you have a financial interest in.

Do you enjoy scamming people out of money? You and your band of dopey mods who couldn't spell CAT if you spotted them the C and T.

Not the mods fault that someone used up all the “A”’s out of the letter bag passing out ratings to books who paid the most.

Seriously though - use your own judgement when selecting a book and don’t blame BMR for every challenge you encounter in life. BetWhale is being touted by several sites - it’s not a BMR exclusive and unlikely they have any direct involvement in the parent company (Wonder Play) - look them up and you’ll see a mixed bag of reviews. They pay - but low limits and can be a tad funny.

Line moves happen anywhere. YouWager was bad about it with me. Heritage is becoming the worst with changes though.

So BMR has a positive review - sounds like all those stupid investors who got fleeced when buying at a leak and the company drops. “But the analysts said it was a buy” - yea - and…do your own research - is someone has 100 ratings and 98 are positive - probably a sign that their rating doesn’t match the market.

Processor fees - again - talking to customer service reps unlikely to get much done. Confirm how much BTC you sent - what the rate was and then figure out why you got so much less on their end. If you were buying it with a credit card and then converting for example - easily could explain it.

And with all the trouble you expressed about your baller app - why are you going to anyone BMr recommends?

Because where else can one find reviews? Every forum touts. SBR? Give me a website that posts honest reviews and I'll stop posting here.

There isn’t one and that’s the point.

You know going in the ratings are rigged - so why use them.

It’s still pretty much a matter of trusting POSTER reviews of shops and even then it’s trial and error.

I try to give honest reviews of places I play - as do others. It’s simple - you can go with the established books and know the path is more even - or you can take the chances off the beaten path and expect some bumps along the way - but possibly finding a better route.

So name your top three offshore books.

Today:

Bet105*
BetOnline/SportsBetting
BetAnySports

Also use: Bettors Den, BetWWS, YouWager, TopWager365, BetNow and occasionally BetUS currently.

The * for Bet105 is because they are part of Heritage - or at least have some connection there (as does WagerWeb). Heritage would have been on this list if not for the BigJay situation.

There have been some vocal critics of Heritage going “downhill”. To me that’s a relative term / I still think they are secure to a level of Bookmaker/BetOnline and they offer the common player more perks than anyone (including BetOnline) - but I’m holding on continuing to use them pending the resolution of this matter. Bet105 appears to be at least different day to day so I’m holding on them for now.

BetOnline won’t give me a bonus - but Sportsbetting will - so I use them. I’ll take 25% free pay weekly up to 250 over some worthless points anywhere. Plus occasionally give a little more on promos.

BetAnySports is as solid as they come. Old school book who always pays.

The rest - I’m happy to say have all proven solid and reliable - to me they are a B level. Obviously some are newer and some just have lesser selection or higher vig/lower limits that make them less useful - but as a recreational player I wouldn’t hesitate to use them.

The obvious missing book here Bookmaker/JustBet - well Bookmaker lost my business over a decade ago when they refused any bonuses and basically told me they didn’t want my business after I took a contest win and cashed out nicely. JustBet had my business when I came back (and still calls regularly) - but pissed me off on a tennis wager that ended in forfeiture in the 3rd set - initially voided - they came back a day later and reversed it to a loser on me. I get grading errors - but this was not that - it was a cash grab and making up new rules as they went along to take advantage of the situation - so they lost me for about the amount BigJay lost from Heritage.

Thank you.

No problem - happy to answer any questions about my experiences with these books publicly or via PM.

I try to be objective in my opinions - but of course they are always that - my opinions - not a comprehensive rating. Things change quickly in this industry - and unfortunately there is just a lack of posters sharing HONEST feedback on books regularly - especially new entries.

You say you have a good experience with a PPH hosted shop and you’re a shill. Not all of them are bad - there are some of trust further than some very large established shops - some of who have minuscule payout limits and play far more KYC games.

Not to drag this out Djeff but, was there any other issues with Bookmaker other than the bonuses? I ask because its one of my main books. I've not had any issues with them. Of course, I'm always scouting for a new one.

No - I’d feel 100% comfortable with Bookmaker.

Just personal taste with me in not using them.

The minor issue with JustBet was exactly that - a minor issue. But I just didn’t feel like arguing with them - because similar to BigJay’s matter - my opinion on books that treat stupid little disputes like that as “major” issues is simply “if they act like assholes over cents - how are they gonna behave when we are talking about serious money?”.

I mean - why run off profitable players at a bonus book because they “won” a few hundred. Same logic that applies when someone cashes a few thousand - I mean if I deposit with you weekly and lose - and then get on a “lucky” streak and build up a few thousand and clear RO - books getting stingy with the bonus just doesn’t make sense to me. Now cashing out 4 weeks in a row for 5k - yea - don’t t be shocked when your bonus gets shit down - at least until you make up the profit.

Any of the books I listed I’d feel comfortable using - but Bet105 and BettorsDen both have reduced juice AND bonus opportunities. Bet105 bonuses of course are smaller - but a lot to like. Only thing I don’t understand - if you call yourself Bet105 - why do you run lines that are -106 ?

Was limited to $211 by BetWhale on the Memphis/WVU game last night. I did get - 4.5 on Memphis so that worked out but I can bet $700 on an NBA game but only $211 on a college football game? Makes no sense.
