this is a common misconception. i believe.

true lines are weak/unknown early on and stabilize over time.

waiting a week or 3, is for stat/ model bettors usually who want to get a feel for it first.

ofc, wouldnt it change or adjust every game anyways ?
since every game is supposed to be treated as a seperate animal

imagine MLB season ... all year long . no break.
how much would a 3 month diff. make ? - not talking about trends here.

point i'm trying to make is, its the same odds/variance of winning today , than it is 3 weeks from now.

Some trends are valid for years regardless of which time of the year it is (with a few exceptions like late in the season). Except in those cases it doesn't matter about adjusting for every game. Yes, every game is different but apparently not enough to make the trend invalid.

Others are only valid for a certain part of the season like you mention.

I bet because I like to win I enjoy the Hunt.. the Money is nice but I put all other responsibilities above my budget for gambling I have a Family and goals and I work hard so I play for small Wagers it works for me I do cash out what I don't do is ever go broke..ever

Pay attention to early and late line movement.
