I've played quite a bit with BOL over the past 2.5 years and done well overall.
These are legit winnings and I want to have proper documentation of them so I can show them in case I get asked about source of income: from banks, tax authorities, other sportbooks etc. I know it's possible to get betting and transaction history on their website. BUT it only goes a year back, I would ideally want my history going back to 2020, and you can not download it. It's only possible to get screenshots and screenshots are not always accepted, I would think because they can be manipulated.
From every bookmaker I have asked over the years I have been able to get these documents. If they don't have it available for download on the site, they have emailed my betting and transaction history to me. But Betonline have refused.
They quote this rule:
"BetOnline will not disclose details of an individual’s net winnings or losses. It is the player’s responsibility to keep track of winnings and report them to the proper authorities when residing in a taxable jurisdiction."
I tried to argue my case by saying that I am asking to get my own betting and transaction history. I told them that I am requesting this to keep track of my winnings so that I have proof in case I need to show it for tax purposes or banking, but the two agents I spoke to just said there's nothing they can do.
I don't think the purpose of that rule is to deny players to get access to their betting history.
Anything BMR can do to help me with this? I'm happy to go through any verification process they need if that's a concern on BOL's behalf.
Should I file a complaint here?
