I figured I’d try to post here to let others know about this experience. A few weeks back I decided to deposit some money(around 700 or so) into betonline to play some live dealer roulette. Over the course of the week I managed to get my bankroll up to $5055.48 which is where I decided that was far exceeding my luck as I’ve never had such an insane winning streak. I was placing some crazy bets that paid off. My new year was starting off beautifully. I decided that it was time to cashout, but unfortunately I had to wait a few more days as I had deposited via credit card (dumb move on my part). It was only a few more days until I could cashout so all I could do was wait.
Fast forward to a few days later and I sign back in to make sure my funds were still there (I was checking this daily to ensure nothing went wrong) to find a balance of .40 cents. I was baffled, I had just spent the day covering a 14 hour closing shift(11PM) at work only to have to open again the next morning at 6:30 AM. I had not been on the site at all that day. I brought this up with customer service who has been throwing me on a loop and sending me generic messages over and over to no avail. They claim that I went back into live dealer casino the day that I was at work all day and used up all of my account balance.
I escalated this case twice now and am awaiting the next response from them but they have been extremely inconsistent in replying to my issue and sometimes send me emails completely disregarding the evidence I provided them with. The last customer service agent I spoke with escalated it to another department who sent me an email asking for documentation proving I was at work at the time they claim my account was active. I sent over my work time card from our Kronos system that my manager gave me, as well as my google maps location history as I have that enabled on my phone which shows that I was at work the entire day, I had no time to be on the site and had zero intention of gambling there again after hitting such a balance anyway. They said I would hear from them shortly after reviewing the evidence and then a week later never responded.
I escalated it AGAIN the other night and I was told that they already reviewed my account and found no inconsistency and that it was my IP address that placed the bets. After explaining the situation to the agent they told me they’d get back to me “shortly” but I’m not holding my breath that I’ll receive any actual response. Some of the emails I received from them are wildly inconsistent with different names in the opening and closing of the email and one of them contained multiple misspellings.
How is it possible that they claim it was my device and IP that was making these bets, it feels as if nobody is genuinely looking at this case with the way they respond to me. Is this a common issue at this site? I’ve always thought of betonline to be one of the better and more secure sites. My only assumption is that someone managed to login to my account using my IP(not sure how this is even possible) and decided to blow all the money. My question is why wouldn’t they have just waited to cash it out? I don’t understand the logic behind hacking an account and losing the money?
This whole experience has been incredibly demoralizing for me and I’m genuinely unsure of what steps to take here. I’ve always like the site and have had successful cashouts years ago so I know they’re a legit book, it’s just that this has really soured my view of the site. If anyone has any advice on how to deal with a situation like this I’d appreciate it.
