Sad news.

I always liked Kosar. He got the max out of his talent from college to the pros.

You could tell that football took a toll on him the last couple of decades. Always had real slow speech like a punch-drunk boxer. Too many concussions. Now this.

Bernie has been a diagnosed dumbass for years.

As great of a player as he was - Bernie as a person is a whining compulsive loser who simply is seeking excuses for his prior poor decision making and compensation from who/whatever the NFLPA is suing this week for damages.

Concussions - yep he announced he has chronically suffers - announced right after the NFLPA announced the settlement fund to players

Painkillers - yep he’s addicted - announced right after the push for compensation announced to players who were “forced” to take them.

Oh and let’s not forget how he recently blamed everyone else for losing his job by making an improper bet on an NFL game for charity after signing as a spokesperson for MGM and having his name used at the steakhouse at Northfield MGM (now renamed as they wanted to get away from him).

Like I said - as a player i thought he was great and he’s a Cleveland legend - but post athletic career it’s just been a serious of bad money moves and seeking excuses to blame everyone but himself. I’m really surprised he’s not a gambling addict as he literally has patterned his lifestyle after one.

Bernie was no saint but alot of people took advantage of his generosity and his disabilities.
I liked Bernie. If I recall, he went thru a bad divorce.

Funny thing about Bernie. Great player, but the first thing that comes to mind is two brutal defeats:
1) BC over MIA: Flutie connects on the miracle Hail Mary, wins the Heisman.
2) Den over Cle: Elways completes The Drive, Broncos win in Overtime.

Medical industry will never abolish cancer they make too much 💰 treating it.

Nah - they will cure it…just about the time they develop bigger and better diseases to fear and begin selling “treatment” for - just like they did with COVID.

There’s a reason the cancer rates exploded in the last 50 years - and not just because we are supposedly living longer.

The amount of crap they put in food today isn’t helping either. Look at diabetes as a great example
of how treating a disease can be highly profitable. The key is you gotta create something that’s long term. Curing cancer is a relatively “short term” thing - you don’t “live” with cancer - you either eliminate it or it eliminates you.

Diabetes is a long term disease - you can have it and live many years. HIV/AIDS held promise for drug companies - but only really took off with really poor people in 4th world African nations - no money in those markets advertising drugs and charity doesn’t pay drug companies. The next great disease will be something long term and they will manipulate us into buying “prevention” - the problem with Covid was it went too big too fast. Funny how quickly a disease that had a 50% mortality rate dropped to one who is now considered like a weak flu by many and has a mortality rate measured in a large decimal.

Legend had it that Bernie, his agent, and a lawyer schemed him going to Cleveland when they were all boozed up at a wedding reception.
Dawg, I know you've heard this story:

*Marty S was moving on from Kan City. This was after he had coached the Browns.

Marty S summed it up with blunt honesty: "I couldn't beat Elway."
...Think about how many times Elway knocked out a Marty S-coached team.

1) The Drive. 2) Byner stripped by Jeremiah Castille. Brutal.
