Baylor lost Tchatchoua (leading rebounder) a couple of weeks ago and Cryer (2nd leading scorer - questionable tonight) in the last game. The bears play has been choppy of late. They needed OT vs Okla St. in their last outing. They were handled easily by Texas Tech albeit they made a little run late in the game. In between those games they beat up on a weaker TCU team at home.
KU is playing well. In their last 4 games, they ended up easily winning. They did come out flat in the 2nd half in two of those games (W Virg and Okla) but ended up putting those opponents away in the end. Prior to that they lost a exceptionally tight game to Texas on the road. That was a great game especially the 2nd half (~10 lead changes and a fight to the finish). Losing Remy Martin hurts a little but KU has a lot of great guards.
I think the +3 is generous. I plan to wait until just before game time to see if Cryer is actually out. I think they line assumes he's not playing. If he ends up playing we might get a bump on the spread. KU is playing well and Baylor is playing so-so and has injuries.
I like the +3
