I like this matchup. Baylor played exceptionally well Saturday in a big game against Kansas even without Cryer in the lineup. Full disclosure: I posted a thread betting on KU and took the loss.
I've not seen any reports Cryer is back for them but he was questionable on Saturday and some reports thought he might play so I'm thinking he will return tonight. Baylor still has a shot at Big 12 title, albeit a little bit of a long-shot based on Kansas' schedule but, they have something to play for on Tourny seedings so I think they will play very tough.
In Texas' last 4 games, they had to come from behind late in the 2nd half in their last two games vs lesser opponents (TCU & @ W Virg), lost against Texas Tech in Austin, and went to overtime against Oklahoma prior to that. Baylor is obviously a much better team than 3 of those opponents and maybe slightly better than Texas Tech. Typically Texas falls behind in the 2nd half and then stage a late run (its what they often do), I don't see them being able to accomplish this vs talent Baylor can bring.
Baylor pounded Texas in Waco on Feb 12th by 17.
