BAS lowered limits and removed prop builder while I'm down overall to them

Ok - are you subject to any remaining rollover with them ?

Smart books will restrict play if they sense a potential for high exposure to a player - even a losing one.

We are fresh off BetWWS playing fast and loose with allowing “losers” to keep hammering away at them (and winning) without stopping their play until it was too late and trying to justify stealing player funds AFTER the fact. Personally - I respect a book that shows the integrity to not try and free roll players.

Now if your subject to a RO - then the limit cut is BS. Otherwise - it’s a badge of honor as a player, accept it and play at books who will extend higher limits and pay you when you win.

While I agree with everything you said and it should be viewed as a badge of honor, another option is to be a real bookmaker and do what BOL, Bookmaker and Circa do: Take pro action and use it to keep your lines razor sharp.
Books that limit winners are missing out on extremely valuable information.

Agreed - but not everyone has the volume/ability to exploit having info from who the pros are playing.

All of those have long established customer bases and very sharp management in addition to deep pockets. They let pros play there knowing long term - if they allow the pros to play with them and adjust their lines slightly to make it enticing to take action on the opposite side - they will profit long term from giving the pros a solid out with sufficient limits.

Not that BAS is some tiny operation - but they also don’t have the customer base of the others. They could theoretically tail the pros plays elsewhere - but big difference risking your own money vs risking owing others.

I actually really like BAS - decent limits for me still on bases (5k) - a reasonable 6x RO on their 25% cash bonus and can offer the best price on tennis faves many times. Just wish higher payout limit than 10k BTC - aside from that nice shop.

My rollover was complete and I have been paid but they are still a bullshit book that shouldnt bet rated as high as it is. IMO BOL should be the highest rated book. Im up heaps on them and I just reached diamond 2 with them and they gave me 1k with no rollover requirement

100% you can be limited either being down or earning less than your expected +EV. I was limited at Hard Rock betting NBA Props extremely quickly (limited be across the hoops arena, left other sports alone) and earning less than 1% but they didn't like unders action that were mispriced. (clearly when you are betting 80% unders you can see the lean they are leaving for Joe B Public to play) Not sure what you played here, but I would guess the same thing. ST variance had you down over a number of plays but the plays were still +EV.

Badge of honor is true, but after getting many of those badges, those become badges of headaches trying to work around those! I will say at least some of these shops (BAS included) are not nearly as predatory as those (we know who they are) that only want a client base playing 6+ leg SGPs with a 30%+ hold for the house. Lottery shops...

NBA unders at Hard Rock...another sharp BMR poster right there (y)
In an offshore world that's as slim as its ever been, BAS is one of the few reliable and useable outs.

It still pains me that Hard Rock managed to keep the monopoly in FL. Very beatable for the short time they allow it. Probably only a matter of time on a few bases markets that are very soft. Funny how you get a "legal" shop and still 95% of your action is offshore.

Their CS is truly humorous as well. The day I went for a NBA prop and saw I could get $10 at +120 I immediately went on CS hoping for a software glitch (I knew better, but since they hit me on college hoops sides as well for $10 (everything hoops, but no other sport)) I thought maybe a glitch. I kept asking them about my limits, we don't see anything and kept going in circles. Finally someone said I don't see any restriction but it is up to traders. I don't think they are instantly hitting the limit button.

Hey, at least Post Malone can get $88K on Dallas with them (if you have seen their ad).
