This is surprising to me. Thought they’d go after Debo or someone else. Pac 12 success isn’t as impressive as success in other conferences in my opinion

DeBoer put up an award winning offensive line this year.

Pop quiz, where was Bama arguably the weakest last season?

You guessed it, the O line.

Impossible act to follow though.

Sark and Norvell made it clear they were happy at Texas and FSU. I would have taken the call though if I was Norvell and they had interest. ACC kind of a dead-end conference

That’s been their downfall since winning the natty in 2020. Weak in o-line ever since. It was also the weakest part of their team in the Bryce Young years, especially 2022

Fresno St to UW to Bammer. What a leap
Agree. Fresno State (2021) to Bama a little over two years later. This seems insane to me and the likelihood he’ll be in over his head is high.

What are your thoughts?

The leash is short at a job like Bammer. But I suspect he's taking OC Grubb & his DC with him like he did from Fresno St to UW. Saban wanted his OC Grubb anyways. I don't know about him recruiting the south. Way different than west coast recruits.
