Auburn -1½ (-105) Bet Saracen (Legal Arky Book)

I like this game on a couple of angles (personnel and revenge). There are 2 prominent players for the Tigers that are from Arkansas. Al Flannigan a 6-6 senior has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He wanted to play for the Pigs but did not get offered. A direct quote: "For me it is personal being from Little Rock and them offering another kid over me. I never got an offer from my home state even though I was the #1 player in the state." *

Chris Moore a 6-6 Junior from W. Memphis offers this tidbit: "For me it is also personal," Moore told the Auburn media, "The day I committed to Auburn the fan base went crazy. They said I was disloyal to the state. So just beating them for the first time in three years would be amazing." *

Last year Auburn came to Fayetteville as the #1 team in the country and left with an overtime loss. There are 6 players returning from that game that have not forgotten the fans rushing the court. The Hogs came back from a 17 point deficit last Wed to beat Missouri. They could not hit a three until Musselman inserted true freshman Joseph Pinion. He started hitting long range shots and looked to bail the Razorbacks out. Bruce Pearl saw that tape and I think will scheme a plan to try to keep Pinion at bay. Auburn has a veteran team with its starters (2 seniors, 2 juniors, 1 soph.) and Flannigan a senior coming off the bench. I am taking the Tigers in this contest.

Nice pick, you seem to know when to pick against your alum. The whole entire board missed this easy winner, including myself.

I feel if you know the personnel it may give a bettor an edge in the market. The Hogs are young and the SEC has some teams that will be heard from come March and I don't mean Kentucky. They got waxed Saturday and there may be more of that in their future.

Bama comes calling on Wed. They may be the best SEC team, will be fun. Will look at the line and see if there is any interest.
