The Houston Astros became the first team in MLB history with a pair of immaculate innings in one game when Luis García and Phil Maton both breezed through three Texas Rangers batters on Wednesday.

Shocked it has never happened but than again hitters of the past were more disciplined

One pitch by Maton was called a strike that was out of the zone but the rest were close or in. Maton seemed to blow by them more than Garcia. Both pitchers were impressive.

Worst part for the Rangers (Nathaniel Lowe, Ezequiel Duran, and Brad Miller), they will go down in history for being the 3 guys it happened to twice in the same game.

there's prob been like 100 immaculate innings ever ever ever. period

so yeah 2 in one game is freaking bizarre
