Starting Pitching:
Crawford (BOS) has been very good since moving into starting role. Has a 2.25 ERA as a "starter" in last 4 games. But, Rasmussen (TB) isn't a slouch with the same 2.25 ERA over last 4 starts.
Batting:
BOS WRC+ 111, OPS 0.757, AVG 0.267 (Season)
TB WRC+ 105, OPS 0.696, AVG 0.242 (Season)
BOS WRC+ 99, OPS 0.718, AVG 0.247 (last 7 days)
TB WRC+ 110, OPS 0.698, AVG 0.257 (last 7 days)
TB has picked it up at the plate a little more than Boston lately. Also, they have outscored the Red Sox by an average of 3 runs in their 3 games. Anything above a 2, I like.
Relief Pitching:
BOS: 3.22 ERA
TB: 3.20 ERA
Both teams are good here. Neither team's bullpen is too used up. Plently of decent pitchers with low pitch count in last couple of days.
TB is one of the teams with the best Hm vs Rd improvement in play. Their win % is 16% (3rd in MLB) better at home than on the road.
TB -125 feels about right for the stats I'm seeing.
I'll definitely play along.
