i remember there use to be quite a few in the 80's and 90's

what does the professional scene look nowadays as it relates to baseball?

what do you think has changed in recent times where many have given up entirely on the sport?

i like baseball but in today world to make good money you got to look at the entire sporting games from around the world on a daily thing, i hit 2 games very easy today across the pond but played them like a few mins before game time, sometime you got to jump on a game very late action to get the best results.......

Back before the turn of the century baseball was easier to handicap the pitching. Pitchers pitched for the same team most of their career and the data was more long standing. Since then there is such a turn over and with all the foreign players and the inter league. And they used to play an unbalanced schedule so you played teams with in your division more times. You look at today’s schedules and it’s like who the heck is this pitcher.

With pitch counts you have to play 1st 5 innings. Your pitcher pitches lights out than someone else blows it. Back in the day they went 8 or 9 innings

The younger crowd just don't know how great baseball was growing up. It was baseball 1st and than football. Same went with the card collecting. Fast food places at times had cards instead of toys at least in Philly area
