I work from home 100% of the time. Last year I worked in the office 3 days a week for the 7th contract with the company.

The first 6 contracts were great. It was nice to come into the office 3 days a week and see people and go out to lunch and then work from home Mondays and Fridays. Then, this contract last year had a bunch of assholes who talked too much. At least we could leave at 2pm and work from home after that.

I now work probably 4 to 6 hours a day for 3 days a week and then 2 or 3 hours each of the other 2 days a week. I get laundry done during work hours along with cleaning the house so I don't have to do that stuff on weekends.

I do - at least when I’m working.

It’s a mixed bag for me - technically haven’t went into an office since 2017. 6 years of being a field rep - home/car was my office - now I’m 100% remote and meet with no one.

I can technically go into an office I want - it’s 30 miles away and probably only 20% of our employees are mandatory hybrid (2 days a week).

Sucks having limited social interaction - but nice at the same time. Thinking of doing a co-op locally for WFH’ers - basically $100 and you get a cube in an office where others come to get away from home - free coffee/snacks and access to meeting rooms and such as well as a receptionist if needed.

I work from home as well because it is the company office. When necessary we meet with clients either in their offices or conference centers and conduct the rest of our business via zoom, emails, or phone calls.

I like the tax write-off for using part of my home for business.

At that point just go back to the office PT and save the $100 🤷‍♂️

Yea - but $100 a month and

- drive 2 miles each way vs 30
- Don’t give work tbe impression I don’t mind the drive in
- Not mandatory - can walk away anytime. Can’t do that at the office if I start coming in and they realize how nice it is to have me there even 2 days a week.
- I’d probably save the $100 just in the cost of my breakfast coffee and pastry every day if I went to work (only perk I ever missed about my last job - we got a $7 a day credit for the cafeteria- so basically free breakfast or $2 lunch every day - and the breakfast were actually good) - usually did breakfast and then stopped in for leftover from whatever training classs/meetings we were hosting for lunch.

Also had a ridiculous per diem for food when I traveled - $85 for dinner every night - it became a running joke between me and a few co workers who could get their tab closest to the mark without going over - also getting places to “disguise” our alcohol purchases as food on the tab so we could drink for free.
