Done it years ago playing greyhound tri’s - each guy picks a number and we would bet every race - hope to catch a race where we had a long shot in the mix.

Low stakes/fun way to pass time.

No unfortunately not. I would offer to do something similar this season but I know I will be gone for 2 weeks in October so it's going to be a hassle trying to get someone reliable out here to put in the picks

When we do guy’s trips to Vegas during football season - usually 3,4, or 5 dudes sometimes - we’ll do ‘communal’ parlays, usually like a $20 or so each. But, if we go 3-1 or 4-1, the loser has to buy a round of quality $#!T, usually some high-end bourbon or something…..

Mr. Bobby was a huge help. He placed our bets for us out there in Vegas.

Think of it less like pooling money and more like opening outs.

Raising the private equity is one thing, but in reality the outs can become more valuable.
