Anyone else playing the DraftKings slugger of the day promo ?

Basically - make up to a $20 bet on a player to hit a HR and if it loses - receive an equal free play.

Typically not one to mess with these small promos - but it’s daily and you at least get a decent payout if it hits. You can play guys like Judge/Ohtani - but payouts of course are relatively tame.

Been doing it a week - hit 4 of 7 (one of those was Judge the game he hit 3 - should have picked him to hit 2 instead of taking the low +175 ).

Easy enough to scalp out the “free” $20 as DK free play is unrestricted - so just bet the other side on a huge ML of your so inclined - or just use it on a small parlay.

So far my payouts have been $55, 150, 72 and 220 - not bad for a basically no risk promo. Combine that with the no risk NCAA/NBA parlay daily for $25 - it’s been a profitable little promo.

I seen those and since it's so small I haven't. But now that you posted this and I think about it you can link up 3 or 4 batters for a decent payout on the promo and get a good lick if the 3 or 4 batters hit. Best part is its a free shot basically cause it's no sweat. If you lose you get a second shot at your money back. Dk is smart this will get degens in the door to gamble more. I'm gonna start having fun with this for kicks. Let's do this @djefferis and post our no sweat hr parlays. When I build mine today I'll start the DK no sweat hr bet thread.

Yea - good ole South - gambling is evil. Yet marriage at 14 is fine for example.

Never figured out some of the Bible Belt states - like I said NC prohibits casinos - but you can buy lotto online and there are “lucky 7s” in every gas station and tons of strip mall operators of the “fish game”. So a large well organized and licensed casino is likely to attract problem gamblers - but a shady AF poker machine ran by Asians - that’s just harmless entertainment ?!?

You can - or can pick multiple or opt to play a single player to hit multiple HRs.

Never really thought about parlaying - hard enough to hit one. But agree it’s a pretty smart idea as your getting your small wager back as free play if you lose.

If was going to have parlayed today - Elly DeLaCruz would have been my 2nd leg (+450)

So tried to parlay - doesn’t look like you can parlay - single player only.

Went vanilla today - Judge at +205.

Another free $41 courtesy of DK.

Not getting rich - but going to have a nice lunch tomorrow for free.
