Large is a relative term.

It is like saying your a “big” bettor - to the guy working for $14 an hour - a $500 bettor is big bets…to many it’s rec play.

Carry a balance - but I’m at below 20 percent utilization and my balances are on my interest free cards and credit union cards - the Delta Premier gets paid in full monthly as does the hotel rewards card. It’s nice never paying for flights/vacations because of the free points. When I traveled for work - the balances I ran up were great. Still got a few hundred thousand points banked.

I never actually tried this. I should do this to help build my credit because my credit score is not so good even though currently I don’t have any debt.
My credit score was actually quite bad a few years ago as I had a lot of credit card debt. After I paid it all off I used strictly cash to pay everything for many years but credit remained bad of course. Now I have excellent credit and no debt. It didn't take long at all surprisingly.

You could do or if there's someone you trust that has a high credit score you can ask them if they can add you as an authorized user on the account. You would never actually get the physical card but it would overall help your credit score

I put everything on my credit cards and never carry a balance. Pay off every month.
This is what I do KR.

I have a cash back rewards Discover card I use for almost all purchases and I pay it off in full at the end of each month.

I do, however, keep cash in my wallet. I usually have about 10-12 $5’s, a few $10’s and about $10 worth of $1’s for tipping.
