Anatomy of a 45.5k bailout parlay (from 50k to $6658 to 52.2k)

1st the bad:
Atrocious live 3k Bears ML bet followed by 2 even worse Jets pregame bets. (down 20k)



Now the ugly:
Might as well chase that 20k with Jets alt. 2H parlay (+14.5/o46.5) Just needed Jets to score 11 points once ARI scored 7 but of course they get shutout. (lose 23.4k)



At this point I'm down to $6658 from 50k & already in the process of transferring $94,020 from my HYSA to Citi to reload & restart with 100k (already transferred 50k, the rest tmrw)



Now the lucky: (ALL IN parlay)

Just a little more context: had 0 intention of trying to win this back until I saw the Lions were down big. Was this close to placing this alt. 2H parlay but was worried about the total in case the Lions shut them out in the 2H (which shockingly happened). Instead I just randomly threw in the hockey live bet to get the payout to over 50k down 3-1 with 6 minutes left. Luckily CLB cut it to 3-2 so the ANA empty netter kept it a winner.



Here was the truly scary part. Watched the Lions game until they tied it at 23 & then turned it off & waited for the result. Cashout was decent at that point (23.8k) with HOU driving for a GW FG.



Figured I was fucked at that point but it was either win & have 52.2k or lose & reload 100k: nothing in between. Obv I lucked out big time yet again (like with the Jets beating the Texans on TNF), transferred that 50k back to my HYSA, but anybody saying it's just a matter of time before I lose everything doing this dumb shit over & over: I most certainly don't blame you.

Congrats on the win - I’ve been on some roller coaster rides in Sundays but nothing like this. Key of course is worst case you could have walked away from it with a positive balance in your bank account and played Monday on the books money - only difference is now you can do it with an extra $2200 of their money:

Thanks dj..the whole key for me was WD a lot in order to feel relatively secure going ALL IN this much knowing I could always reload. Without that safety net, I'd never be taking these shots. These were 3 other AII IN parlays that if they didn't hit, I'd be in a bad way right about now. Would've obv reloaded if they lost, but I just know that would eventually lead to losing everything.



DK host offered some sports outing perks (Jets box seats for DEN game, US Open hitting session with Andre Agassi that I regretfully turned down at the time) but I'm not being moved up to ONYX (invite only) for whatever reason even though I had the 175k Tier Credits for a while now.

DK loves big bettors - right up until they win a 2nd or 3rd time.

I ran quite a bit through them on scalps and they loved me - right up until when I started winning on them and suddenly the text from my host stopped. They at least gave me some decent promos and reup bonuses - but even those stopped this NFL season and I have zero use for them. Pissed me off on that $100 soccer wager they mis-graded and refused to correct and now with the whole tax reporting thing set to take effect soon.

Of course my wager size was a 10th of yours. They should be doing something for any bettor - win or lose who generates that kind of volume at their markups.
