Revenue from a sportsbook is virtually nothing compared to their bottom lines

Books always talk how they “lost” - it gives players hope that they have a chance.

Revenue is the key when your advantaged on every bet made - generate revenue you will generate profit GUARANTEED. Matters not if you show that profit on week 1,2 or 13 - just as long as at the end of the quarter there is a profit to show the shareholders.

A week of big faves winning just means more revenue next week and more false hope from gamblers chasing back lost profits.

Yet they will continue to offer them - why $$.

Not as profitable as the electronics - but you got to have something to bring the big spenders in the door and 60 cent slots don’t do that.

The profit % is less - but what would you rather have 40% of $1,000 or 4% of a million ?
