The most important question here is:

Who is the coach?

Montana and Rice may be the greatest but not the same without Bill Walsh and that new West Coast offense at the time. You put Parcels or Ditka as their coach, are they the greatest? Emmitt is nothing without that Stud Dallas O-line and that is coming from a Dallas fan. Sanders had no line and no coach has to be GOAT but Bo has an argument with that. He had nothing as well. Moss, Owens were successful everywhere whether they were a cancer or not but there is a ton of wide outs from the 70s that were stud too. Hell, I would take Herschel Walker or Tony Dorsett over Emmitt everyday of the week.

You really can't worry about the coach, and then worry which players will be on the team.

Then you can say I want the 85 Bears defense or the Giants blue wrecking crew, or the NY Jets Sack exchange. We can go on and on and on.
