The New York Jets, alongside the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers, are leading the pack with six prime-time games scheduled for next season - and quarterback Aaron Rodgers is buzzing with excitement.
After a devastating Achilles injury in Week 1 last year cut short his first drive as a Jet, Rodgers spent the rest of the season on the sidelines. Now, with the upcoming season's schedule out, the hype around the Jetsand Rodgersis reaching fever pitch.
Rodgers expressed his enthusiasm on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio, saying: "I love it. We are must-watch TV. And that's pretty obvious.
"Everybody knows that. Whether you love me or hate me, people wanna see me play. They enjoy watching me play. And we are a team to watch this year. Not surprising. Six prime-time games in the first 11 or 12 weeks. I love it. You know, make it difficult."

With the longest playoff drought across all four major US sports, spanning 13 seasons, the Jets are desperate to break their unlucky streak. They bet big on Rodgers to turn their fortunes around but instead faced the disappointment of an injured star last season.
Concerns were raised about the future mobility of Rodgers following a torn Achilles, an injury that can be career-altering. However, the Jets quarterback sought advice from a top specialist and has equipped his home with rehabilitation gear, revealed Jake Ryan, a former Packers linebacker.

Ryan, who retired from the NFL due to his own injuries, remains close to his ex-quarterback and anticipates a strong performance in 2024. "Aaron's one of the smartest people I've ever met in my entire life," Ryan shared exclusively with Mirror Sport.

"He knows the game of football inside and out, great teammate, great leader. I know he tried to get back (last season) as much as he could with his injury, to the stadium, but I know he was on his own regiment with just getting back and getting his Achilles right."
"But man, like the locker room with Aaron, it's a game changer. He knows what to tell guys. He knows how people learn. I think having that and also his personality, I mean, guys love him, guys gravitate towards him in the locker room and I think the Jets are gonna do extremely well this year. That's who I'm rooting for. I mean, of course, Green Bay, but, I think it's gonna be an awesome season to watch for sure."
