Not surprising

Question is even if he wants to play elsewhere who would want him?

Drama queen. Huge injury risk.

Even when he does play he’s just not that good anymore

The real question is who is going to get Davante Adams once he doesn't sign with the Jets?

West Coast team?
Good point and good question

Would Niners be interested? Debo will be gone likely

Chargers in desperate need of WR too

Arod is only going to go to a team that has a legit SB window but out of those 8-9 teams who would really want to take on the headcase / risk of him just quitting if things get shaky? He has zero shot on breaking any records or being in the GOAT convo so you have to strongly question his desire to play at all, can't build around that. The jets were just a pathetic team that deluded themselves into thinking they were missing one piece. Only two threats that could be considered are the Steelers and Vikings and the Steelers are far too disciplined to bring in someone that could be defiant at that position. The vikings are "close" but JJM needs to see the field, the team is solid enough to hold down the fort during his growing pains.

Adams is a total wild card, he has his ring and he seems to really enjoy winning. He will show his true colors soon after they let him go ( they are cutting him, his contract is a no go for that team ). Seems like half the NFL is his hometown/fav/friends team. Going to the Saints is a waste of time even with Carr, the pack are the 3rd best team in the division so why bother, the Chargers aren't beating the Chiefs and will struggle to stay ahead of the Broncos, and the Rams don't really benefit by letting one aging wr go only to add another one who plays a roll almost identical to Puka. Chances are he chases the bag and complains about it the rest of the year when it doesn't pan out.
