Scary news out of Kansas City as a report says many fans who suffered frostbite as a result of attending the Miami Dolphins-Kansas City Chiefs playoff game are facing amputation.
PerFox4Kc.com:
The medical director at the Grossman Burn Center at Research Medical Center says 70% of patients referred for frostbite injuries suffered during the bitter cold in January are now being advised to schedule amputations.
The majority of them are Chiefs fans who attended the team’s frigid playoff game.
Dr. Megan Garcia told FOX4 in January she’d already seen dozens of frostbite patients. Many of those were Chiefs fans who attended the playoff game against the Miami Dolphins where it was -4 degrees with a wind chill of -27 degrees at kickoff.
Those fortunate enough to recover have been going through treatment in hyperbaric chambers, per the report.

So you show up wearing nothing but paint - down 6 or 8 $18 beers and get frostbite in the 4 degree stadium - and 3 months later - it’s someone else’s fault.

Yea - sounds about right.

They will sue - but settle for tickets to a game next year and Mahomes bobble head.

So true, drop hundreds of dollars to suffer through that weather and later have some of your extremities removed. Worth it? Natural selection needs more opportunities like this to thin the herd.
