A FanDuel Sportsbook bettor turned $5 into $274,037.76 after hitting an eight-leg parlay composed of two four-leg NBA same-game parlays.

The gambler correctly picked four players to go over their points props and 3-pointer props in Wednesday’s games to cash the long-shot bet, which paid off at odds of almost 55,000 to 1.

The four-leg SGP in Golden State’s 101-93 win over Orlando was composed of Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins scoring 20 points or more (23) and making three 3s or more (3), along with Magic guard Cole Anthony scoring 20 points or more (26) and making three 3s or more (5).


The four-leg SGP in Charlotte’s 118-111 victory over Cleveland was composed of Cavaliers swingman Max Strus scoring 15 points or more (19) and making four 3s or more (5), along with Hornets swingman Brandon Miller scoring 30 points or more (31) and making five 3s or more (7).

The bettor had to sweat out Miller’s points prop until he hit a 3-pointer with 25 seconds left to go over his total.

I don't play these so I can't complain I have never hit one. I am still bitter about the $50 5 teamer I had in 2011 or 2012 that lost on the last leg by a .5 run as a result of Jim Thome going from first to home that was initiated by a wild pitch. I still can't explain the play with any coherence. I believe there was a throwing error as well. I just know Jim Thome, old ass Thome too, went from 1st to home as a result of a wild pitch. Next pitch or two immediate popout. Of course. Superb hit for this player though.

Is FanDuel going to tell him that, actually, these types of wagers are limited to 50k payout and it's a software glitch and he's not getting paid?

Worse than that depending on state.

28% - plus state.

That’s what’s withheld - not what’s OWED.

Assuming you’re an average working guy bringing home 50-225k a year - you can add another 15% on top of that potentially at year end.

Wanna know what sucks worse than getting 2/3 of your winnings ? Having to pay another 15-20-% a year later when you’ve long single blown through that money. Made that mistake many many years ago - never made it again.
