Middle Tenn +1.5 @ Old Dom There are still some +2 including at my Fav BOL

Middle Tenn guard Jefferson is questionable which is a big concern. They lost their game on Wed to Charlotte when he was out. If you look at their season scoring, it was a though the 15 pts/gm he scores were just erased from the Charlotte game which helps explain the 4 pt loss. If he plays, they should cruise to an easy win. If he is out, it might be a dogfight.

3 weeks ago (w/ Jefferson) Midd Tenn crushed Old Dom by 15. It was a tight 1st half but the Blue Raiders buried them in the 2nd half.

They are 12-2 since mid January and easily in 1st place in C-USA. A great 7-1 ATS over last 3 weeks (only loss ATS was Charlotte last Wed).
When they are small dogs or slight favorites they cover regularly (except Charlotte game).

On the other side Old Dominion as favorites are 1-6 ATS in last 3 weeks. They do play better at home so that and the Midd Tenn Jefferson injury probably lead to the -2 for Old Dom.

Watch the injury reports and check Midd Tenn St. team twitter for updates on Jefferson. If he's playing I'm on the +2 -110 (@BOL) with a larger bet. If he is out, I'll take the points but go smaller on my play.

Boise has been solid all around lately but I feel Colorado St is playing for more tonight with a possible No. 2 seed ifor the Mountain West tourney

Line is at -3 but was waiting to see if it came in CK's last report

TCU +2.5 @ W. Virginia Line dropped from +3 to +2.5

TCU is peaking at the right time. They have been playing exceptionally strong lately. They beat Texas Tech, Beat KU, and lost in a tight game at KU. I don't see them slowing down at W. Virg.

5-0-1 ATS the last 2 weeks. As a road dog since Jan 1st they are 6-1-1 ATS.

W. Virg has struggled all year, occasionally showing brilliance against great teams (KU, Baylor) but still end up losing games. They are on a 1-14 run straight up (lone win against an ISU team that in the midst of a 4 game losing streak). They are 2-2 ATS as home favorites since Jan 1st. This team tries to give Huggins all they can but, they don't have the talent to win.

No bet on the Kentucky vs Florida game. Fla seems to step up on big games lately so I'm laying off that one. If I had to make a pick it might be Kentucky ML but that is juicy at -200, so pass.

North Texas -5 vs UTEP

UNT is on a 15 game winning streak. Lot of momentum going. They beat UTEP by 8 at home 4 weeks ago. 6-2 ATS over the last 3 weeks. They've covered the spread during that time when not double digits. UNT took care of UTSA Thursday without a lot of difficulty.

UTEP is 2-4 over the last 3 weeks. UTEP struggled against Rice on Thursday and should have lost that game.

Laying off the Rice/UTSA game - two really bad teams. Difficult to determine who is going to show up and play well out of these two. Its kind of like watching your kid play peewee soccer. The score could be 15-0 or 0-0. You never know.


I liked Texas Tech -2 at Oklahoma St and felt this line was out of whack. I would have expected Tx Tech -7 or -8. But, this is the last game for Oklahoma St. due to post season suspensions and they may have some energy that could take Texas Tech to the limit and keep it within the 2. And Texas Tech does on occasion play like crap on the road so NO PLAY for me.

I only mention these since I had them on my list yesterday and stated they might be plays --> Nope

100% agree but fortunately, I have enough plays going to not press it too much. Trying to be selective on my plays and avoid throwing them out there if they are iffy.

I have 3-4 games I'm looking at tonight and there's UFC shortly so it will have been a healthy card for me today.

Rough day. Down 0-3.
7-5-1 in last week.

Couple of plays for tonight.

Colorado ML+113 vs Utah.
Colorado on a 6-1 Straight up run with a win over Ariz. They beat Utah at home by 5 in mid-Feb.
5-1-1 ATS last 4 weeks. Utah is 2-2-2 ATS over the same period.

Utah has been pretty much on tilt since Dec 1st. They have a couple of wins in that time but only 1 was by any significant margin.

I have no idea why Utah is favored in this game.

San Diego St -4 vs Nevada
San Diego St. vs Nevada line has moved from -2.5 to -4 over the last day. I think everyone is seeing what I am seeing. The -2.5 line was a mistake. I hate betting into a line move like that but -4 still isn't enough to scare me.

SDS - 8-1 last couple weeks. Beat Nevada by 10 in last meeting. 5-1 ATS. They did lay an egg against Fresno St. Thursday. They won but only by 1 and did not cover. Hopefully, they got that out of their system and will come out refocused against Nevada.

Nevada has been streaky. 6 losses, followed by 3 wins, followed by 3 losses. During their brief win streak, 2 of the 3 wins were against lowly San Jose St., one of the worst teams in NCAA. In games in which they are supposed to be "competitive" (i.e. spreads +/- 5), they are 1-6 ATS.

This one seems obvious as it was to many when the line moved to -4.
I'm on the Aztecs and laying the points tonight.

UNLV - 3.5 -115 vs New Mexico

UNLV line has moved to -3.5 from -2.5 last night. They beat New Mex at home by 30 points but it was a lifetime ago (Jan 11th). Aside from losing twice to Boise St. (a pretty good team), they have won 5 games. 6-1 ATS, and 5-1 ATS as in competitive games (i.e. spreads +/- 5 pts).

Meanwhile the Lobos are 1-4 S/U after winning 3 straight in early Feb. The are 2-4 ATS recently (& would have been 2-5 if their Boise St game had not been cancelled).

We may have lost a point on the spread in the last 24 hours but, I'm still on the Rebels to cover the 3.5 tonight.


I was able to get it at -3 -115 (@ BOL)
