A solid basketball card to open the week with some NBA and CBB and Hockey returns.

Feels like slim pickens from the card today with 6 NBA, 2 NHL, and ~12 CBB games.

Weak card in the USA

Couple of big faves in Soccer going today in Europe - you got Man City visiting Brentford in Premier League action and Cagliari at Roma.

Don’t know enough to give out winners in soccer - just dabble in it. Same with tennis - play the faves and hope I picked correctly.

I do like Kansas over K-State tonight - money line only. 4.5 isn’t much to give - but feel that could bite you in the end - lay the -185 and just worry about winning. K State isn’t bad at home - but also not great. Likewise Kansas doesn’t have a great road record - but has played good teams on road too that beat them. It’s a small play for me - but not much else to go with tonight.

KU has to come down right at least a little, right? They shot 69% vs Houston over the weekend. Houston is the #1 defense in the country. No way can KU sustain that but, I do believe the win tonight. Covering - not so sure.

I don’t think they can keep it up a long period of time no. But also thought Houston would beat them too.

They got off to a hot start last time out.

It’s more a case of trusting KU over KSU than anything - one team is tourney ready - one isn’t. I’ll go with the tourney ready team. Yea - no way I’d give points here.

Just like when we saw Nebraska fall to Wisconsin in OT - thought they would let down vs Illinois on the road - they did - but came firing back in the end to tie only to fall again in OT.

They are looking shaky on defense. So many mistakes.
They appear to be able to get some shots off but they are lucky to only be down by 1 right now.

And of course they immediately score to tie the game.

I know - but clearly the better offensive team. Can only hold them off so long. So far playing out as I had hoped so got a chance to now back the visitors.

1-1 and all even just before the half.

Rome on the other hand - I seem to have been bitten by the early goal curse - have the home team and over 2.5 - home team leads 2-0 - just need another goal and I’m good there.
