The BMR Biggest WIENER Contest

  • $100 Bitcoin Weekly to one lucky WIENER
  • Pick 1 team against the spread(No Totals or mL) from the provided NFL/NCAAF games
  • The poster that correctly picks the ATS winner with the most net action pts will be crowned BMR’s Biggest WIENER that week

Bonus:
- Provide a write-up for why it is your best bet that week and those that win their game ATS will be provided 10 BMR Baller Coins.

Fine Print:
- Must have a BMR linked sportsbook account. Please PM @BMR Genie and @Enikk with any questions.

- Tie-breaker is most action net points of a 2nd best bet. If still tied than it will be decided by the poster that submitted his/her entry 1st.

-Bonus Baller Coin write-ups need to be legit analyst/opinion on the game and not just a generic 5 word reasoning. This is to help us all out in “beating the man” so please let's take it seriously.

Entry needs to look like this(not my entry):
Best bet(winner by most action pts): Cleveland brown -4
Tie-breaker: 2nd best bet game for tie-breaker only(winner by most action pts): Syracuse -9

If still tied than it will be decided by the poster that submitted his/her entry 1st.

FYI action points examples for those who may ask...

Action points are the difference between the actual score and the spread for the team you selected (e.g. How much you beat the spread by).

[Your team's score minus the opponent's score then add or subtract the spread accordingly]

Example 1:
Line: Baltimore -3 @ New England +3
Assuming you select Baltimore to cover the spread and Baltimore wins by 14 (e.g. 42-28), you would have 42-28-3 = 11 action points. You picked Baltimore and beat the spread by 11 points.

Example 2:
Line: Wyoming +22 @ BYU -22
If you select Wyoming to cover the spread and BYU wins by 18 (e.g. 30-12), you would have 12-30+22 = 4 action points. You beat the spread by 4 points.

Example 3:
Line: Vanderbilt +40 @ Alabama -40
If you select Vanderbilt to cover the spread and they win by 1 (e.g. 31-30), you would have 31-30+40 = 41 action points. You beat the spread by 41 points.

If you have negative action points, you lost against the spread so it doesn't matter --> you lose.

Is there going to be a list of particular games or just any football game ATS?
There will be lines posted so everyone will be playing with the same lines but am actually trying to get the rules changed. I would prefer the contest to be pick your one best bet with most action points the winner. As a tie breaker add your 2nd best bet again with most action pts winning.

Otherwise this becomes a who picked the best favorite 1st contest and no one can have the same best bet so the write-ups would mean absolutely nothing and defeat the purpose of the contest.

Entry would look like this:
Best bet(winner by most action pts):

Tie-breaker 2nd best bet game for tie-breaker only(winner by most action pts):
If still tied than most BMR Baller Coins wins

Thank-you for this Tanko!!

Great explanation thanks Tanko.
