Kind of feel for him

When Mahomes got that clutch, clinching first down you could see the PTSD on Allen’s face

He just kinda knows at this point he can’t beat Mahomes

Not his fault. Only 2 people have been able to so far.

I still want to see a season where Allen secures a ring, doesn't matter if it is Mahomes or other QBs in the finals.

The Bills have been overachieving solely because of him.

Allen doesn’t have the supporting cast on both sides of the ball that Patrick has had or even Lamar Jackson for that matter.

But the #1 difference is that Mahomes has Andy Reid.

Take Reid away from Mahomes all of these years and it’s a completely different story in Kansas City

This isn’t the NBA in which coaching barely matters and you get out of the way and let the superstars do their thing

In Football it’s crucial and Mahomes has the best guy in the league leading that offense & team

Yes and no.

It’s definitely not Allen’s fault, but he hasn’t played his best in these spots either. He was very shaky to start the game, and had 3 fumbles that were 100% on him that they were fortunate to recover

Mahomes definitely has better coaching, but Mahomes is also just way more poised in these spots than Allen. Clearly has a lot more confidence

Allen has all the physical tools to be an all-time great, but still often doesn’t make the best decisions and can get rattled in higher stakes moments.

You don’t have to be mobile to beat the Chiefs.

Brady and Burrow have beaten Mahomes because they are both better than Allen/Lamar at going through progressions and mentally being prepared for the big moment.

Brady obviously the GOAT, but stylistically Burrow more resembles Brady than any other QB.
