Over the last two years Oakland's performance can be summed up by this clip. The owner doesn't give a crap about the team. Before 2021 Fischer tried to field winning teams. Now he's just trying to get the hell out of Oakland.

I feel bad for the fans.

The players are probably just happy to be in the show but likely are in it for themselves, not the team.
