⭐⭐⭐BMR BEST BET THREAD - December 8th 2024

Post your strongest bet of the day. You can use any sport you want, all types of straight wagers accepted, just make it clear.

1. You may play money lines, but only between -300 and +300
2. Scoring is as follows; -110 is risking 1.10 to win 1.00 and risking +110 is risking 1.00 to win 1.10
3. Post the following information:
   Date
   Your record and +/- units
   The play, line, the odds (Use American Odds, not Decimal)
   The book
4. For MLB wagers, both listed pitchers must start in order for your play to be valid unless stated "Action" for the game.
5. For Soccer and Tennis plays: List the date, time, the opponent and how draws and retirements are to be graded.
6. Please indicate if the wager is a 2-way or 3-way bet for sports that offer them (NHL, Soccer, etc...)
7. Plays must be posted before the official start time.
8. If the odds posted with a play appear to be in error (i.e. significantly differs from the line found on BMR odds), an average of the "big" 4 books (BM, Heritage, BOL, Pinnacle) will be used to determine the applicable line to apply to the play.
9. No Parlays/Teasers/Live bets - Wagers on Quarters, Halfs, Periods are acceptable as long as they can be confirmed independently on BMR Odds page.
10. Do not edit your post or it will be graded as a -330 loss. If you omit something (e.g. the book), you may add a new post indicating that information as long as it is before the event starts. The play and the odds cannot be changed once posted. Contest participants must follow more stringent posting guidelines.
11. If you wish to post a play that uses an alternative line, please post a screenshot of the odds with your play. You do not have to post your actual $$$ play, just the screenshot of the odds.

You were given opportunities to explain these unusual lines, lines that no one else can can obtain. You did not provide an explanation. How can we accept the lines you're posting when no one can confirm them and multiple posters are seeing significantly different lines on the same sportsbook?

Even if we assume for a minute that you are somehow able to obtain these lines (how?), they are not usable in this thread. The idea behind this thread is for people to see potential plays to tail. If no one can do that with your plays, the plays can't be counted. Its the same logic used for not allowing live bets.... no one can readily tail.


I see two options:

1. Remove you from the standings and stop accepting any of your best bet posts going forward.
2. Remove your plays for the last 30 days since most of them were Alt Lines and allow you to post only plays with odds that are specificially listed on the BMR odds page.

I don't see any other options.
If you don't respond today, we'll go with option 1.

my final wager of the year confidence is not very high but just can't go against a team that has scored at least 2 goals in 14 straight matches they are in really good form feels like a 1-1 game but can't resist hot streaks

I should still get the 14 wins. All the totals were legit and won. It's just the juice I get a bargain on. So the totals were right. Please have a heart I didn't cheat. Why would I in a free thread with no prizes.

The problem is Sunny the majority of those plays were over the -300 threshold.

This is the answer. To get the odds to below -300 the totals and spreads would have changed and you probably would have lost a few of those plays along the way.
