I always like to convert runs scored and runs against into a projected W/L record using Bill James' method and then compare that record to the team's actual current record.

The table of data seems to indicate the Cardinals and Cubs are a much better team than their record indicates while the Marlins and Tigers are not as good as their record shows.

Realize this is with only 25% of the season played so the data is a little squewed and does not take into account strength of schedule.
