McPeek looks for wagers where he believes the odds are in his favor. He does extensive research that he tabulates by hand in a notebook. Over time, McPeek and other professional gamblers believe they can get an edge. But it's hardly a slam dunk.

He claims that he has an edge in betting (with parlays, no less) but he lives with his parents at the age of 24? As the one person said, there's probably something that hasn't been revealed. Having said that, they should pay him in full.

So a judge will have to determine the outcome. In a nutshell, according to the casino and the guy.
I'm betting a judge rules in favor of the casino. Why? Because, the initial act is the guy purposefully working around casino rules. He admits it by talking about different bet sizes and using disguises. He knew the casino would limit/restrict him so he tried to get around the rules.
The fact the casio didn't stop him up front from breaking the rules and placing the bets, or voiding the bets before the first play, becomes irrelevant.
The only distasteful part is that if he had lost all his bets, the casino would have not voided the plays. They would have kept his money. I'm not sure the judge will weigh too much into that fact unless the judge is a gambler themselves.

A wager made with knowledge that you were “circumventing” posted rules is void from the start. It then is the BETTORS burden to notify the book that the wager should be invalid before the start of the event to shift burden to the book to make a decision to either allow the book to consent to amending their previously advised restrictions or to void and refund.
It’s simply not going to go well for a player in court unfortunately. First - this will go to federal court as the bets were made outside of the players home state - federal is much more business friendly by nature. Secondly - the player acknowledged taking efforts to conceal his identity- knowing if he was identified he would likely have not been permitted to place the wagers - this is where the doctrine of clean hands comes in. There’s a difference between using a runner for example and doing it yourself and concealing your identity. By KNOWINGLY concealing an identity - the player acknowledged he was acting in bad faith.
It will be an interesting case legally / but best player can hope for is Caesar’s agrees to a quiet settlement - which is unlikely as everything legally supports them and the precedent is far more valuable than the publicity to them. The publicity end they actually may prefer - this won’t stop small profitable bettors from playing at Caesars - but it will serve as a warning shot to advantage player and shot takers that if you try to bypass limits/restrictions the book WILL refuse your winnings.

The court will side with the casino as always, but they shouldn't since they didn't cancel the wager immediately and let it play out and damn sure would have kept his money had it lost
