I used to love Roger Ebert.

If he gave something four stars I almost always liked it. He was a true movie fan like a lot of regular folks are

After he passed I don’t pay attention to the critics anymore.

If I want to watch something older I will look at his review first a lot of the times. I usually see how he rated it first, then read the review after watching the movie

This Superman is best one made to date

Thunderbolts was good

How to train your dragon was good as well

Can’t go wrong with Tom Cruise a Mission impossible movies

28 years later was a huge disappointment

Ballerina the John Wick spinoff was also a big letdown

The new final destination was really good, especially the opening scene

“Mickey 17” was one of the most woke, stupidest movies I’ve ever seen.

Watched “Bring Her Back” around Halloween - weird plot, turned out weird, but it was O.K.

“Sinners” was ehhhh, kind of lame.

“Final Destination” was predictable - but the effects were good - and I did like the opening scene.

Wife & I started the “Minecraft” movie - made it about 4 minutes & turned it off.

Haven’t seen any of the others on this list…..

But, Leo at his most Leo, Spicoli went full dramatic Spicoli. “Mexican Brad Pitt” (Benicio Del Toro) was great. I see a lot of “woke points” Oscar nods, but - UNLIKE “Mickey 17”, wife & I agree this was a good movie…..

Wife & I give it 2 thumbs up - STRICTLY for the acting. Storyline was good & easy to follow, “scenery” and “costume” and “casting” whatever will probably win Oscars.

Anyways. Good movie.
