My father landed on Omaha Beach . Saw too many friends die to want to talk much about it. Wounded in combat several months later .

First of all, no one is disparaging the American forces in that war.

Secondly, America came in late to that war and it didn't have anything to do with the USA when it started.

Hitler was the correct and logical response from Germany after WW1.

Anyone who disagrees doesn't know what they're saying.

Germany was torn to pieces, their people suffering immensely, poverty rampant.

Hitler initiated the greatest turnaround ever seen before or since.

That was the correct decision regardless of American involvement later on.
