My dog has been sick since Friday. Don't want to eat, high fever, and the accumulation of eye gunk... Need to bring him back and forth to the vet to do all the tests.

Did you take him to the vet Genie?

I know a fever if it gets higher can be dangerous

Also if he’s not drinking can be very dangerous and they may have to give him fluids

He has an autoimmune disease, and he needs his maintenance pill every day..But this one is new, so they did bacterial tests, he did like 5 tests already, and so far doc said the results are okay, though they recommend him to take an antibiotic for 5 days..Still no appetite though, and needs to lessen his fever.

Si, I did, BigJay. Yeah, true.. He doesn't want to drink water either. Pero, that injection helps.. Though after 8hrs I feel like the fever is still coming back. Pero, doc said hopefully, we'll see some progress soon.

@BMR Genie I'm curious. Are vets expensive in CR?
We take stray/neighborhood cats in for rabies/leukemia shots and it costs ~$100 each.
Does your vet charge a lot to treat your pup?
